There are various "malls" along the strip that offer unique items and artisan galleries. If you've never walked the strip, you might find you enjoy it. There are really good restaurants along the Loop, too. You could spend days watching demonstrations and talking to the gifted artisans in the Arts & Crafts Community (). You can try River Street for free parking, but the warning there is that cars are tight-packed and you may get stuck. The toboggan was closed due to rain/lightning in the area so I did not get to try that.
